Janiece is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and Family Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of experience across multiple areas of healthcare. She is known for combining her strong background in emergency and primary care with a patient-centered, empowering approach to health.
Janiece graduated from East Carolina University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. After graduation, she worked primarily in emergency medicine, gaining extensive experience caring for patients in critical and fast-paced environments. She later earned her Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Duke University in 2021 and has since practiced in primary care, urgent care, and corporate medicine.
In the summer of 2025, Janiece completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice at East Carolina University. Her doctoral work focused on addressing limited access to healthcare in rural communities in eastern North Carolina, using mobile health units and faith-based outreach programs to reach patients who might otherwise go without consistent care.
Throughout her career, Janiece saw firsthand the limitations of traditional healthcare—short visits, long waits, and not enough time to address the root causes of patients’ concerns. These experiences inspired her to open ReShape Health Clinic, where she offers a more comprehensive, accessible, and empowering approach to health.
Janiece has a natural way of making patients feel seen, heard, and genuinely cared for. She explains everything clearly, compassionately, and without medical jargon so patients feel confident and supported during every step of their health journey.
Janiece lives in Pitt County, North Carolina with her two children, who keep her busy with soccer, gymnastics, and cheer. Together they enjoy a very active lifestyle. For fun, Janiece practices Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, weightlifting, playing soccer with her kids, and spending time outdoors. She is currently expanding her clinic as a long-term resource for patient empowerment and sustainable health.
